General terms for sponsored content, advertising and other agreed media collaborations with Cat & Room.
These terms describe Cat & Room’s general approach to commercial partnerships. Details agreed in writing for a specific engagement take priority if they differ from this page.
Scope of Work
Work begins after Cat & Room and the business partner confirm the scope, deliverables, timing, price and any material requirements. A proposal or inquiry alone does not create an obligation to accept or publish a collaboration.
Payment
Payments are made for the commercial content, advertising placement or other media service agreed with the business partner. Payment timing and method are confirmed with the scope. Supported payment providers may include PayPal where available and mutually agreed.
Disclosure & Editorial Independence
Sponsored content and advertising are disclosed where appropriate. Cat & Room retains reasonable control over editorial quality, accuracy, audience fit, presentation and compliance with our publishing standards. Payment does not require us to publish unsuitable or misleading material.
Cancellation & Refunds
If both sides agree to cancel before work begins, any refund will be handled according to the specific agreement and the circumstances of the payment. If planning, writing, production, placement, publication or other costs have already been incurred, a refund may be reduced or unavailable to reflect work completed and costs committed.
Completed and delivered services are not generally eligible for an unconditional refund. Any engagement-specific cancellation or refund terms agreed in writing take priority over this general page.

If a question, cancellation request or dispute arises, please contact admin@catandroom.com so the parties can review the agreed scope, payment and work completed.
